The shoals at the entrance are well marked; be mindful of depths and the shallow area right after the hanging bridge. Mooring, anchor aft and bow to the docks or rocks. Generally adequate depth for most vessels. Generally good holding ground in the clay bottom.
There is a beautifully marked round trip to walk here on Skjernøy.
