This is an easy bay to enter however, if you arrive later in the day and it is busy, the shallows will have been snapped up. The centre of the bay is somewhere between 8 and 10 meters and you will struggle to hold, especially if the wind is up. The seabed is largely sand and weed, which makes it a little difficult for a good hold. Aim for the outer edges of the bay in about 4 to 6 meters of water and pay out 30 to 40 meters of chain.
It is also possible to lay an anchor and moor stern-too the rocks if the wind direction suits. There is an easy walk across the island to the north where there is a small village with one shop that sells local produce. Cash only and it get hot very quickly.

First came to Uvala Jorja in 2018 on "First" sailing out of Kastel / Split. I had no idea what I was letting myself in for and was sailing single handed.
I was met in the sheltered bay by a harbour master who was very helpful. Stern-too on to a lazy line and very easy. The restaurant LERO is excellent and at the time (2018) it was cash only. There is an ATM across the island (90 minute walk).
I will send an update again tomorrow as I will be returning there having booked a table in the LERO once more.

FUEL PONTOON
I have used this fuel pontoon twice now. My advice (which is free), never leave your re-fueling until the last day or at the end of the day, in that order.
I arrived on a Tuesday at 1430 and there were 2 other vessels in front of me and with a 12 knot wind, remaining on station can always be a little bit of a test. Within 20 minutes there were another 6 vessels behind me all having there moments with the 12 knots of wind.
There is room for 2, 50 foot mono hulls and with room to spare.
The staff are very good and will do what "You" want them to do, and not what they think is best.
They sell ice cream too.

This is a very easy Harbour to navigate and enter. Where the anchorage is marked, this is now a buoyed area with plenty of space for 55' yachts. There are a number of stern-too mooring available. There are 2 piers used by a foot massager ferry service and a larger vehicle ferry service. There is a shop, bakery and several restaurants in the village or which all look very good indeed.

Very easy to navigate with plenty of space to sail onto a mooring buoy with plenty of depth close to the shore. If the buoyed area is full there is space and shelter at the entrance to anchor.
One small, family run restaurant to eat at. Very good food.
Mooring fee €40 per night.

Very easy entry from the North or South. mooring buoys and space for anchoring is plentiful. Underwater cable area to be avoided and is clearly marked.
Sandy bottom with the occasional rock. Nice swimming area with a bar / grill to the southerly corner.
€40 by day / €70 by night

Easy entrance and met on arrival to help with mooring.
Finger pontoons and NOT stern-too - this was not expected.
Very clean marina, staff very helpful, nice showers with a restaurant where the service and food was very good.

Currently in 2026 - there is no water and no reliable shore power. We were invited to join the restaurant mooring wall by the owner who attempted to be very helpful and interfering. Read into that what you like. Only after securing our lines was it mentioned that there was no water or shore power. That was the worst of it and better to get the bad news out of the way first.
There stern-too wall soon filled up and everyone was so lovely. The resurant was amazing and the food was excellent, without a doubt. The Red Scorpion Fish, cooked on the open wood fired grill was some of the best fish we have ever had. There is also a maned laundrette, small shop and a chandlery which sells all of those useful things that you don't really need - like rope ... !
Leaving in the morning - there was no rush and breakfast can be arranged in the sae restaurant. Even with a 12 knot cross wind, there were no issues leaving the wall.
