description

Approach and maritime conditions: The harbor is located almost at the very end of Frognerkilen in the Oslofjord. Very close to the city center with public transportation easily accessible on the other side of the highway. In the immediate vicinity, there is a venue that is popular in the summer, and a short walk away is Aker Brygge and Oslo city center.

Currently, Skarpsno Baatforening has no facilities for guest harbor.

Easy approach, but can be heavily trafficked at times. Be especially cautious of the beige boats that provide passenger transport between Bygdøy and the city center; they drive fast and never give way. Close by is the Color Line terminal, but it only causes waves during the approach. Sailboats can go a considerable distance into the facility, but probably not all the way to the innermost berths.
Mooring: Private boat association with reserved berths, currently no guest spots available in the harbor. The facility consists of several floating docks with the largest length of 40 feet.
The area: All possible attractions are in the area; Oslo city center is within walking distance and Bygdøy with the Viking Ship Museum, the Fram Museum, and the Maritime Museum are all attractive. The latter two can be seen on the port side during the approach. In Oslo city center, there are many good places for food and drink. Opportunities for walks on Bygdøy, where there are also good beaches.
