Easy anchorage at exit of S. Detroit River discharge into Lake Erie. Lots of weeds. Easy to watch the freighters coming and going. They suprisingly leave no wake due to speed at this location. If winds are heavier, there is a channel North of here, NW of the marina on Island. Channel has planty of width. No protection from South wind.

Simple, easy anchorage. Protection is limited. This island is owned by a hunting group. Don't be surprised if waking upto gunshots.

Shallow spot in bay, away from cottages. Easy anchorage. Easy anchor circle. The Gibson River is to the West. Large rock where channel narrows. Take tender up Gibson River. When conditions are appropriate you can take tender up the rapids and proceed many Miles up the river to 3 Chute falls. This tender trip is not charted. Shallow rocks exist in deep areas.

Inner bay now has a dock and loud youth when they are there. The inner harbour is tight when water levels approaches Datum.

Left boat here for 2 weeks. All went well. Finger docks are a bit tight for 42' sailboat. Bella Bistro near is a wonderful restaurant. $120 for full meal for 2. Fuel dock attendants very attentive. Fuel dock is quite short, and entry to marina is somewhat tight. Call in to ensure fuel dock clear before arriving.
