With a sailboat, we entered from the northeast. There is a shallow area in the middle of the inlet, but good depth close to Bondeholmen.
We dropped anchor close to the small islet in the bay and moored the bow ashore at the southern tip of Bondeholmen.
There are 2-3 bolts on the east side of the small cape, but you lose the evening sun faster there.
It's nice to row across the bay and take a walk on Stora Eldøy.

We had reserved a table at Håheim farm and were allowed to stay at the guest pier of E. H. Vaage, which has the same owner.
Håheim farm was a fantastic experience, with delicious food and an incredibly beautiful garden outside.
Thursday to Sunday, E. H. Vaage is open, serving sandwiches and handmade chocolate. They also have a sauna by the pier that can be rented.
There is a simple grocery store a 10-minute walk from the pier. The bakery that was there earlier is closed.

There is a small municipal concrete quay at the innermost part of Klostervågen, where you can stay for up to one day. The depth is approximately 3 meters along the entire quay.
From here, it is a short walk to visit Halsnøy Monastery, which has a small café with friendly staff and simple refreshments, as well as a nice exhibition in the basement that tells the history of the monastery.

Sheltered and peaceful bay, with particularly good protection against a harsh northwesterly wind.
There is a shoal of 1.3 meters at the entrance. We went in between the headland and the shoal and had good depth throughout.
In the middle of the bay, there is a headland that is good for mooring to with an anchor at the stern. There are two rusty bolts ashore. We chose to use our own instead.
