This is actually a dinghy landing spot on the way to the anchorage inside Menemsha pond. Overnight anchoring is not allowed 2026. It is not an actual anchorage.

Very pretty area with historic architecture, and lots of nice sailboats. Easy entry at most times. Very good old school restaurant called Noah’s 5 minutes from dinghy dock.

Fishers Island NY is a very pretty place. West harbor has good holding in 10-15 feet in the mud.

Well protected harbor with rental moorings. Susan Miller rents some for $30 (2026) Call or text her and she will guide you to the mooring and later come out to you by row boat to chat and collect the fee. Very nice. +1 (207) 596-6317

Apart from Mystic well worth a visit with it's Seaport museum this marina has a well stocked ships store with many spare parts readily available.

Anchoring is allowed only on the Northside of the channel and South of the Great South Pond Buoy 11. Contact the harbormaster on channel 12 for any rental moorings. (no reservations)
