Nice anchorage where you are quite protected from wind and weather. Short distance to the dock for small boats in Asvika (by the Church), making it easy to come ashore on Skåtøy. On the island there is a café and restaurant and many other activities during the summer months. It is about 2 km to walk from the dock to the ferry terminal where boats go to Kragerø.
In Eidkilen there is also a bakery outlet that has delicious baked goods in the morning.
