Well equipped marina. 20 min to Dublin with train (every 60 min). Nice village with a couple of restaurants und supermarkets

Guest pontoon is outside in the channel at the entrance to the harbour. In winter season, the guest pontoon is dismounted! Sanitaries are basic. BUT the village is a very nice spot - 20 min walk on oposite shore of the harbour bay.

We mored here with a sailing boat of 15 m and 20 to with 25-30 knots from N and it was fine so far. So, there are a few bigger mooring boys for ships of that size in this area.

Very well equipped Marina with excellent and new sanitaries. Only a 10 min walk away from the center of Lorient. You can hire for free in the harbour office bikes for a 15 min ride to "La Base of Lorient" with a sailors museum (Taberly) and all the craftshops for the Vendee Globe IMOCAS.

Very nice little harbour behind the lock in the old town of Le Palais. In summer season busy and you have to raft up (you can walk from one side to the other of the harbour without getting wet). Difficult approach depending on high tides. It's recommended to contact the harbour master in advance to ask for a berth. Very helpful staff. Poor sanitaries 5-10 min foot walk away. Belle Ile is a very nice island, you should take the public transport for a bus tour round the island.

Two very good equipped bassins directly in the centre of La Rochelle. Sanitaries are clean but nothing extraordinary. You berth directly in the busy old town close to the railway station. Ideal for crew change. A great number of pubs, bars and restaurants. Helpful staff. The locks are open on high tides. In peak season berth reservation is recommended.
