Good anchorage for swinging, suitable for larger boats as well. Two marked shallows to the South. Good holding ground at about 9 meters in the middle of the bay, enough room to swing 360 degrees with 40 meters of chain out, but in strong winds from the North, you might get closer to the two shallows than most would prefer. Well protected from waves even though the wind can be strong from the West, Southwest, and Southeast. Have anchored here in 25 m/s from W/SW without issues.

Smaller boats are better off in Rossnesvågen, past Farestad (6 meters clearance under the hanging bridge).

Nice hiking opportunities on Rossnes and Skjernøy otherwise. Small beach, football field, volleyball court, and toilet in Farestad, by the chapel.

Idyllic and very well protected. Space for two larger boats alongside a steep cliff (approximately 5 meters close to the cliff). Multiple sturdy mooring rings and left-behind pitons. Be aware of the 20-meter-aerial NW of the islet. There is a lot of traffic from cabin residents passing the islet on their way in and out to Brekkestø, so those who want to lie in seclusion should choose another spot. Brekkestø is a stone's throw away with a store, post office, ice cream kiosk, and refueling, WC, and waste disposal.
