Innseiling og maritime forhold: Åbyfjorden er et lite stykke Vestland på Østlandet. Enkel innseiling både nord og sør for Skokeløya. Om det er fullt i Langesund så finner en nesten alltid en plass her. Longsideplasser og svai.
Ankring: Liten brygge på sørsiden av Skokeløya hvor en kan ligge med anker ut bak. Flere longsideplasser i fjorden, sørsiden av Ankerholmene er spesielt populær. En kan også ligge longside flere plasser på sørsiden av Skokeløya, men her kan dønninger fra utsiden gi en del bevegelse. Fint å ligge på svai i hele nordvestbassenget.
Området: Jolletur opp Åbyelva er en opplevelse, grunt i innseilinga. Åpenbart mye sjøørret i fjorden og setter du krabbeteine litt ut får du som regel god fangst. Fint og reint sjøvann. En liten og vakker sandstrand sør på Skokeløya hvor 1-2 båter kan ligge longside.
