The harbour is located on an old boat yard where wooden boats are still maintained.
The place is lovely and offers very decent facilities. The café and the museum are opened in season.
You can also book a sauna.
But you do not pass near Bassholmen, you have to come there.
Tree route are possible, all are very well marked but require a permanent attention to beacons and charts. I would not advise to attempt it at night, even with a good plotter at the helm (more in particular the North-East route):
- from the North east, you will need to pass a narrow shallow (2.7m), just before the cable ferry. The current there can reach 3kn. Then depth is comfortable all along (>4m) but some passage are (very) tortuous.
- from the North West. It's less tortuous but you need to fit under the 15m bridge.
- from the South. The easiest route, following a route well marked passing along flats. The electric line at 30m should not be a problem for most.
