Entrance and maritime conditions: The entrance is quite straightforward, just be aware that there can be some current from the channel right at the breakwater opening, as well as the fast ferries that go in and out here all the time.
Mooring: Alongside floating docks. The outermost and innermost piers past the fast ferry quay are guest docks, the middle one is private.
The area: A 5-minute walk to the center of Trondheim. On fine summer days, Simen’s ice cream parlor is the place to go, located on the quay in front of Rockheim.
