Great harbor with a concrete pier that lies safely within the breakwater. Some ferry and express boat traffic, so it is recommended to stay on the inside of the floating dock. It rocks a bit in the waves, but not excessively.
Service building a bit from the quay in a white barrack. Large and good washing machine and dryer, as well as a separate shower room with a good shower.

Mooring: Longside floating dock. There is steady traffic from fast ferries entering/exiting the harbor; it is advisable to stay on the breakwater side of the floating dock for better protection from waves and currents caused by these.
Area: Excerpted from SNL: Brekstad is located at the mouth of the Trondheimsfjord and the entrance to the Stjørnfjord. The area has small industries, a district medical center, and Mascot Høie bedding factory. Ørland Culture Center opened in 2009 with a dedicated department for Hannah Ryggen. Brekstad is a communication hub with fast ferry routes to Trondheim and Kristiansund, a ferry connection across the Trondheimsfjord to Valset and Ørland Airport with daily flights to Oslo. With the municipal merger with Bjugn into the new Ørland municipality in 2020, the central administration of the municipality was consolidated in the town of Bjugn.
