July 2025. Good harbour and relatively many places, some also on the outside of the concrete dock. There can be some waves from fast ferries and other tourist boat traffic, so we used some loose lines which turned out to be smart. A couple of times, it really got rolling on the boats, uncomfortable. But mostly it goes fine and quiet in the evening and night.
Very many people, especially when cruise ships are in, but a lot otherwise too.
Recommend taking the Flåm Railway and cycling back down. Difficult to bring your own bikes, at least we couldn't manage this, we don't know if it was full or if they want to rent out more bikes.
Many places to buy food, small stalls with many types of food.

Flåm is still marked as an anchorage in official nautical charts. However, there is a marine cable that runs across the basin where it is natural to anchor. This is not marked on nautical charts and not marked on land. Approximately 10 cm cable with a black rubber 'sheath.' It is not possible to determine if it is for electricity, water, or sewage. Anchoring here is not recommended - if you wish to anchor, you should use a tripline.

There are countless souvenir shops and restaurants in the area. The Flåm Railway is a popular train journey, and has been voted several times as one of the world's best train journeys.
Bicycle rental allows you to cycle parts of Flåmsdalen, combined with the train.
Flåm is a great starting point for Rallarvegen from Finse.
Scandinavia's longest zip-line is also located in Flåm.

Entrance and maritime conditions: Good depths. A lot of commercial passenger traffic of vessels in all sizes, but it becomes quiet by the evening
Mooring: Moor at the floating dock at Flåm Marina, or at designated wooden piers in the harbor facility. Possibilities to anchor outside the marina.
The area: One of Norway's most visited tourist sites
