Innseiling og maritime forhold: Havna ligger midt i Helgeroa sentrum. Innseilingen er så enkel som den kan bli, ingen grunner eller noe. God dybde rundt bryggene men ikke gå for nær Sydvesten dersom du har seilbåt og stikker over 2 meter.
Fortøying: Longside på utsiden, utriggere på innsiden. Mulig å ligge på svai på utsiden av gjestehavna, sandbunn. Mange bøyer gjør at man må ankre ganske langt ut, 10-15 meters dyp.
Området: Om man kommer fra øst går man forbi Mølen og alle gravhaugene. På vei inn fjorden runder man Fugløya med festninganlegget. Når Fugløya er rundet ser man til styrbord Revet. Her stod slaget om Nesjar mellom Olav den hellige og allierte stormenn i 1016. På kaia står et kunstverk som symboliserer dette. Helgeroa var fergeleie til Langesund frem til 1961, da Breviksbrua åpnet. Kyststien går rett forbi gjestehavna og langs Mølen til Nevlunghavn, en fantastisk fin tur. Det er også fint å gå ut mot Ødegården. Gjestehavna ligger midt i Helgeroa, hvor du også finner flere restauranter og en marina i umiddelbar nærhet.
