description
Long and sheltered strait. Scenic, a good alternative to Båly harbour. Båly harbour, the restaurant Under, and the Njervesanden beach are accessible by dinghy in calm weather.
Approaching from the south has some shallow areas, and one should be cautious and stay close to the land towards the east. Approaching from the north is recommended in significant swells, this route is free of obstacles but is marked with a depth of 2 meters on most charts. In reality, it is at least one meter deeper in the middle of the channel.
Developed area with docks and a couple of buoys in the south (Teinevika). Probably the area in the strait that is most exposed to wind. Bolts in the rock in several places. 10-12 meters depth with a muddy bottom also makes it possible to anchor.
