Largo y protegido estrecho. De gran belleza natural, buena alternativa al puerto de Båly. El puerto de Båly, el restaurante Under y la playa Njervesanden son accesibles con bote en clima tranquilo.

La entrada desde el sur tiene algunas partes poco profundas, y se debe estar atento y mantenerse cerca de la tierra hacia el este. Se recomienda la entrada desde el norte en caso de mucho oleaje, esta no tiene obstáculos pero está marcada con una profundidad de 2 metros en la mayoría de los mapas. En realidad, hay al menos un metro más de profundidad en el centro del canal.

Área habilitada con muelles y un par de boyas en el sur (Teinevika). Probablemente el área del estrecho más expuesta al viento. Pernos en la roca en varios lugares. Profundidad de 10-12 m con fondo de lodo también hace posible fondear.
