description
The nature around here is absolutely beautiful and the almost closed form of the bay protects from wind and weather to allow a calm stay.
We moored alongside the floating dock, which is roughly 20m long. The sea there is 4m deep, so sailing yachts (like us) can moor safely.
There is also a deep park in Svanøya, though we didn’t see any.
Be careful when navigating into the bay, there are a few shoals and an overall need for attentive steering.
Would highly recommend anyway!

Want to know how the wind score works? Then you should read this explanation.
The wind forecasts come from yr.no (Norwegian Meteorological Institute), and was last updated 1 hour and 44 minutes ago (Monday 07 July 05:27 PM). The next night score shows you the worst hour between 22:00 and 08:00 the next night. We recommend that you check multiple sources for wind forecasts. windy.com is a good website to show larger wind systems.
