Narrow but easy to navigate entrance (south) with overhead cable (25m).
Clean and functional floating dock for 2-3 yachts alongside, 9 boxes for smaller vessels like motor boats, possible some private, but not likely. Everything seems well maintained.

Prices:
125 NOK (<30 ft) or 250 NOK (>30 ft)
including water and electricity.
Run by a helpful older couple, payment was possible via Vipps, cash and card

Starting point for beautiful walks across the island.

The nature around here is absolutely beautiful and the almost closed form of the bay protects from wind and weather to allow a calm stay.
We moored alongside the floating dock, which is roughly 20m long. The sea there is 4m deep, so sailing yachts (like us) can moor safely.
There is also a deep park in Svanøya, though we didn’t see any.

Be careful when navigating into the bay, there are a few shoals and an overall need for attentive steering.
Would highly recommend anyway!

Beautiful and quiet harbour.
Good depth at both floating docks, entryway is a bit shallow, not dangerously so though (~4m)
The harbour is formed like a horseshoe and provides very good shelter. There are smaller and private motorboat piers further down.
Comparatively cheap pricepoint for stay, water and electricity.
Can be paid via Vipps, cash in an envelope or cash transfer.

Beautiful island with plenty of benches, bathing ladders and diving boards. Be careful where you step, there are sheep as well :)
No official way to walk around the island, ruins from the second world war are spread all over and labeled with additional information.

Depth at the floating dock is around 4m.
There is an additional dock for kayaks.
Great place for a lunch/swimming break if you prefer the quiet instead of the hustle and bustle of Bergen.

Quiet harbour, although the quality of your sleep depends on the direction of the wind.
Payment via Vipps, cash or cash transfer.
Trash bin at the ferry dock, shower and toilet in the school building. Everything is signposted and explained.

There is a beautiful and lovingly maintained hiking track all around the island (1,5 km) with several benches and a summit book. Would definitely recommend to anyone without walking impairment (it is narrow, muddy and sometimes steep)

We stayed there to avoid Maløys higher traffic volume.

We moored on the outside, along the swimming dock with another sailing yacht. Good depth there, although the pier would have also been possible.
Motorboats have more options.

Really busy harbour till about 10:30 pm, due to locals stopping for gas and ferrys. The night was quiet.

Prices range depending on length, we (39ft) paid 300 NOK including water and electricity.
There is supposed to be a shower and washing machine, but we were unable to find it or it was locked (Could be a user error, it was to late to ask anyone)

The hamburgers were, as foretold by others, pretty good and the self-service supermarket (open 6-24) has all the essentials.

Overall more practical than beautiful

Be careful when mooring to get diesel, depth at the north-eastern part of the pier could be a problem.
Other reviews talked about it getting even more shallow towards the other side, we didn’t try.
We visited during low tide, depth between 2,1-2,6m (already including the depth finders safety bonus)
Otherwise practical harbour with everything you need

Absolutely worth a visit!
Espevær is a small but beautiful island which is clearly loved and well cared for by its inhabitants.
Colorful houses, blooming gardens, little private docks between rough stone.
Store and restaurant (limited opening days) a walkable distance away.

Guests can dock along the outside of a beton floating dock or in a few marked boxes.
Great pricing, we paid 100 NOK for the night (39 ft)
No water, only electricity (+50 NOK)

Overall a great alternative to the busy central harbour,
boats there moored in packages of three.
If you prefer/need more infrastructure though, maybe visit the central harbour.
