Neste Sommer says:
description
Entrance and maritime conditions: Narrow, winding, and obstructed entrance!
First, entering the outer creek: Choose the left passage in the channel and keep to the centerline where it is narrow. Have someone in the bow as a lookout, watching both in the water and for oncoming traffic. You do not want to meet anyone in this channel!
As you enter the outer creek, keep slightly starboard to avoid the 1.8-meter depth on the port side.
Then it gets really narrow entering the inner creek: Study charts and plotters carefully and follow the leading line in the right passage along Kjeholmen. There are reefs on both sides, but the most dangerous ones are on the starboard side. It is important to approach from the correct direction and from a distance. Again, have a lookout in the bow! For the upper half of the inlet, keep to the centerline.
Anchoring: Mooring against the rocks in the north, with generally good depths and some bolts. There is evening sun here.
The pier to the south is nice to stay at - but it is the shaded side.
Also good swinging spots in the middle of the inner creek - but be aware of rocks and reefs on the chart.
The area: Idyllic small creek that is well-visited but rarely overly crowded. Easy to go ashore if you moor - and nice spots for barbecuing, etc.
Within dinghy distance to Valle for shopping, etc.
Garbage containers on a raft where the entrance from the outer to the inner creek begins. Otherwise, no facilities.
