Approach and maritime conditions: The guest harbor at Mausund was significantly upgraded in 2021, but it is still not very large. You will find it on the starboard side when you enter the harbor.
Docking: Solid floating pier with alongside docking in the guest harbor which you encounter on the starboard side when entering the harbor. The pier is higher than usual, so fend well and high.
The area: Mausund is an active fishing village and the most densely populated place in the island chain north of Frøya. There is a pleasant atmosphere with the locals. The café has a popular buffet on Sundays, and the grocery store has a good selection and excellent service. You will feel welcome in Mausund.
