Docked at the fuel dock to access the reception. Planned to refuel but the reception needed to call someone since they don't handle fueling. Directed to a floating dock and moored alongside. Quite worn with missing cleats and old growth on the dock. However, fully functional as there aren't many boats moving in early March, so you can use the cleat on the opposite side.
Nice large park right next to the marina. Friendly staff at the reception who speak English but unfortunately did not respond to our email. Pleasant town with many cafes and restaurants.

Easy entry, but the harbor can be difficult in large swells, and it closes down during large swells according to the state of the bars. Information on whether the ports in Portugal are open or closed can be found at amn.pt under estado das barras. The swells can form very large breaking waves at the entrance.
Inside the harbor, one is well protected and swells rarely reach the harbor.
The harbor facilities are good, but the key must be collected upon payment of the harbor fee. Note that the washing machine and dryer are not in the service building but are a bit further up in the town.
Bus no. 515 departs from the bus stop by the harbor and runs clockwise around the town. It goes out to areas with shopping centers. This is a hop-on-hop-off bus and ideal for provisioning.
Regarding restaurants, there are many to choose from, see below. These are restaurants that serve “dinner” at lunchtime. Until around 2 PM, you can get cheap meals including beverages here. Prices go up in the evening when they reopen. Often it is difficult to find these local restaurants, as it may just be a door with a large room inside, which is hard to see.
Local restaurants,
Tasca 38
O Barril
Cafe Mercado Restaurant
Restaurante Mandarim - Chinese, located 5.3 km away
