Innseiling og maritime forhold: Du går inn til Sør-Gjæslingan fra sør. Du må forbi flere holmer og sund for å komme frem til flytebrygga hvor gjester fortøyer. Mellom noen av holmene er det for grunt til å gå, så sjekk nøye på kart og GPS. Gjestebrygga ved Nakken (vest på Sør-Gjæslingan) har vært der i mange år. I 2021 ble det anlagt ny flytebrygge på Heimværet (øst på Sør-Gjæslingan), hvor det også er plass til gjester. Se egen side for denne flytebrygga.
Fortøying: Longside fortøying på god flytebrygge. Dypt helt inn på begge sider, følg med helt innerst om du har seilbåt. Plass til 3-4 båter på hver side, og også mulig å ligge utenpå hverandre. Det er også mulig å ligge på svai flere steder på Sør-Gjæslingan.
