Pretty nice spot, took a ring instead of the pier. Depth close to the pier is quite shallow according to the charts 0.5 meters, so didn’t try it. Depth near the rings is ok but be aware of the tide difference. Could not make it work with 2m draft.

Beautiful island with plenty of benches, bathing ladders and diving boards. Be careful where you step, there are sheep as well :)
No official way to walk around the island, ruins from the second world war are spread all over and labeled with additional information.
Depth at the floating dock is around 4m.
There is an additional dock for kayaks.
Great place for a lunch/swimming break if you prefer the quiet instead of the hustle and bustle of Bergen.

Easy access via the south/east side of the island. Approach via the northern passage is also possible, but there are some shoals in the strait.
One can anchor east of the island, possibly in front of Vollane beach. The bay is quite deep in several places (20m +)
The island is a recreational area. In the past, this was a small croft. The history of the place is signposted on the island.
In several places, there are bolts in the rock for mooring with an anchor.
With a dinghy, one can reach Eidsvåg where there is a bus to the city center of Bergen.
