The approach to Trosbyfjorden is narrow, but with good depth all the way (our boat drafts 2.20m).

Hvitodden is idyllic, and a nice anchorage (space for one, maybe two), but a lot of passing traffic (mid-July) creates a fair amount of noise.

Approach and maritime conditions: North of Kjønnøya.
Anchoring: Newly established quay with bow in and own stern anchor. Plenty of bolts in the rock east of the quay, not so deep there. Space for 1-2 boats to anchor on their own anchor, check water pipes in the nautical chart and be aware that there is a lot of boat traffic through the passage towards the southeast.
The area: Inner Kjønnøya has hiking trails and many small bathing places for children. Short walk to Hafsund with food service and accommodation.
