Urdøya: På svai, litt nærmere Tjørnøya enn det som er markert i kartet. Vær obs på brunt sjøgress men får ankeret først feste gjennom dette så virker det ok.
Ankringsplassen ved Urdøya ligger inne i en liten bukt. Det vil som oftes være naturlig å ankre opp innenfor holmen til venstre i bildet.
Urdøya: Vær oppmerksom på umerkede skjær når du seiler inn fra vest.
Urdøya: Hyggeligere enn umerkede skjær er den spredte bebyggelsen på sydsiden av innseilingen. Husene er ikke synlige fra ankringsplassen.

Innseiling og maritime forhold: Ankringsplassen ligger i en beskyttet bukt innafor Urdøya helt vest på Hitra. Det er mulig å komme til bukta fra flere retninger, men vil du ha dypt vann og unngå luftspenn er det åpenbart å gå inn vestfra. I innseilingen får du to umerkede skjær på babord (de ligger vest for Ersholmen). Det innerste av skjærene skal i følge flere sjøkart (mai 2021, Navionics og Påsjøen) være et skvalpeskjær på 0,1 meter, men på lavvann stikker toppen mer enn en meter over vann. Det viser tydelig at det er en del unøyaktigheter i sjøkartene, og det bør man særlig ha i tankene når man går inn på grunnere vann rundt ankringsplassene. Ankringsplassen inne i bukta er stor nok til et par båter. Men det er ikke god plass til å svaie mye rundt, så planlegg godt i forhold til vindretning. Bukta kan være utsatt for vind som kommer inn i kanaler mellom holmene. Bortsett fra på vestavær, så er den svært godt beskyttet mot sjødrag og bølger. Her ligger du flatt og fint.
Ankring: 4-8 meter ankringsdybde. Sandbunn med en del brunt sjøgress og tare, men allikevel godt hold.
