Easy approach, well marked with a lighthouse and two beacons. Sandy bottom, good holding ground. The wind comes slightly over the land because the land is low. However, it seemed to blow less here than in the bay a bit further north, because the SW wind went right over the narrow land there.

No open toilet facilities during Easter, but there is power on the pier and card access for garbage and recycling. The two outermost spots on the pier have been sold to private individuals for NOK 50,000 so they can access them whenever they wish. There are pontoons on both the inside and outside of the innermost part of the L-shaped outer pier.

The inner harbor within the breakwater is quite shallow, and the mooring arms and slips were too small for a 39-foot boat, we found out yesterday. There are large concrete blocks used as moorings in some places in the harbor, so you should be aware of these with a sailboat. We stayed in the outer harbor. Great docks there, and we did not experience waves from ferries as disturbing. But it was also a night with very little wind. Diesel filling within the breakwater in the shallow harbor. Also a well-stocked boat equipment shop there with friendly staff.

Floating dock straight ahead when you enter the breakwater. Alongside berth. Some shallow areas, so watch where you go in the harbor. The owner moved a boat and welcomed us with a smile when we arrived. Electricity, washing machine, dryer, sauna that can be booked. Beautiful beach in all directions. Recommended.

Det er flere grunner i innseilingen, som du må være oppmerksom på. Gå rundt fyret og stakene som står langs leia inn mot Oslo, gå rundt nord og øststaken. Det er ganske grunt innover i havna, men grei dybde på gjestebrygga, som er den første brygga du kommer til. Ytterst på denne brygga er det gjesteplass, men sjekk med fergemannen på øya at det ikke kommer større båt med gjester til restauranten som trenger kaia i løpet av kvelden!
Fergemannen vet også om andre plasser i havna er ledige. Mange i foreningen er ute og seiler i ferier, så da blir det plasser ledig. Hyggelig restaurant på øya, en liten ferge går over sundet, og derfra kan du ta buss 30 eller ferge (NYC) inn til Oslo. Maritimt museum og Kon Tiki museet er rett innenfor. Flere bord og benker på øya å sitte på.

Skal du besøke restauranten eller ha et dagsopphold koster tillegging 150 kroner.

Easy entrance. Some buoys in the bay. Watch out for the black breakwater outside the floating dock facility. Power and water available, sturdy bollards to tie your lines to. Trash bin by the gangway. Shop nearby, though with limited opening hours.

Stay in the middle of the breakwater channel. Some sand is present on the northern part of the approach. There is a large private pier straight ahead where mooring is not allowed. The floating jetty with guest spots is in the northern part of the harbor. A solid, high breakwater provides good protection.
