In the sea chart, the entire large bay is called 'Port Atheni.' Easy approach. Most moor with a bow anchor and long lines ashore. Somewhat deep in certain areas (20m). Good holding ground.
A very well-protected harbor in predominant NW winds, but restless in winds from the south and east.

Very beautiful and picturesque spot!
Easy entry
Good anchoring conditions, but the harbor is very exposed to swell in the prevailing NW wind!

The marina has a unique atmosphere, situated inside the Old fortress of Corfu town.
It is however exposed for swell in northerly winds and from the ferries.
