Entry from the south is straightforward, but opposite the pontoon there are some big rocks that extend NE so if you are turning to go alongside the pontoon, don't go too wide. Lovely hike over the island: seals, eagles and some very cute houses. At the end of September 2026 it was apparently just me and one fisherman in residence on the whole island! Theoretically there is a way to get out the harbour to the north but with 2.2 draft and quite a few rocks, it did not chance it. The south entry is much more straightforward. The fee with electricity was NOK 80 per night (50 with no electricity). Quite a bargain! Electricity was working 29 September.

I entered from the south east as the north west entry through the reef looked confusing and it was blowing hard. Had the pontoon to myself. Nice hike up to the hill with the cell tower atop it. Nice to see the great new houses and on the way. Cafe and Pub still open end of September 2026.
