Approach and maritime conditions: Silda is a car-free island in the middle of Sildagapet. Many use this as a waiting harbor before heading out to the notorious Stadthavet.
Docking: Floating docks, plenty of space. Max 5 m
Area: Power and water available on the floating docks.

Short walk with a view of Stadlandet...

Approach and maritime conditions: Knarrlagsundet is located on Ulvøya in Hitra.
Docking: There are 3 floating docks connected to the Knarren Brygge restaurant and fuel filling station. Plenty of space, not much weather that can build up in this strait.
The Area: The guest harbor has easy fuel filling, among the most affordable. Power and water available on the floating docks. Toilet, shower, washing machine, and dryer available in connection with Knarren Brygge. Joker store nearby.
A couple of hiking destinations, including the Ulvøystien around Ulvøya.

Entry and Maritime Conditions: Vågseidstranda offers a paradise for families. Rental of boats with outboard motors, kayaks, paddle boats, and ATV Safari. Private beach with a waterslide. Floating docks for boaters, rental of caravans/apartments for landlubbers. Kiosk with fresh baked goods.
Berthing: Floating dock with power (only battery chargers, as multiple boats share the same circuit) and water available (water is unfiltered, not drinking water)

The Area: Fantastic hiking area, both for mountain and less rugged terrain. Opportunity to walk parts of the Old Post Road.
The trip to Vågseidstranda by boat goes through the Lindås locks and past Lindås dock, at the very end of Vågseide. Note, height restriction for sailboats at the bridge right after Lindås dock.

Trip to Rødøyløva.

Entrance and maritime conditions: Hisøya is a green oasis in the archipelago between Bømlo and Fitjar, just outside Rolvsnes. Natural harbor.
Anchoring: Dock, a bit shallow at low tide - 1.5 to 2m maybe. Space for a couple of boats.
The area: Take a walk around Hisøyvatnet, check out the 30 m high Sitka spruce

Decent place to moor, reasonable access to electricity and water. Convenience store with a good selection, hardware store, and a wide range of maritime goods. Workshop. Service building, Vipps.
Cheap fuel, floating dock with yellow markings for refueling.
Close to Rødøyløva.

Calm and nice lagoon, somewhat shallow entrance (3-4m). Lookout at the bow if you have a deep draft. Good depth inside. Some buildings. Nice on land with fire pits by the shore.
There may be katabatic winds.
