Please note that there is a large rock in the approach, indicated to be at 1m depth. It is easy to navigate around this to enter Straumshamn.

On the inside of the innermost concrete pier, there is a rock marked at a depth of 0.9m. Several sailboats have been surprised when mooring at high tide and it becomes low tide.
