Nice little natural harbour with an old fishing village. The village is maintained as private family summer cottages. The church was closed ias of July 2025 due to ongoing preservation work. The piers near the village are all for private use. The guest pier on the opposite side of the harbour from the village has a grill, picnic table, dry toilets, and a wood-fired sauna. It would be wise to carefully scout your approach in a dinghy before trying to bring even a small boat alongside as there are many shallow rocks. A nice walking trail has been cut between the guest pier and the village. There are other trails on the island, but they are best avoided during mosquito season. The Rudmanstenen is just N of the guest pier. In addition to the two SXK moorings, there is plenty of room to anchor despite the presence of other private moorings in the harbour.

Easy entry, great walking paths. Grassy old roads form an extensive network of nice, easy walking paths. A few rope swings and toilets ashore. Beach is easy to land on. There is an active farm on the island so please keep dogs on their leash. Lovely spot.

Passage back to the anchorage is well marked where tricky, but does require careful maneuvering with a larger vessel. Depths are shallow in some areas. Shallow draft vessels can tuck in further towards the south end. Possible to go alongside the large rocks or to tie to the rock quay that is passed when entering. Very good protection from all directions. Nice walking paths. Can follow the orange marked trail to the museum. Interesting rock quarries, an abundance of birds and roaming deer.

Nice little anchorage. Some high-speed, small boat traffic transiting through the very narrow slot (marked with stakes) at the SE corner. Entry from the NW is straight forward.

Very nice area to walk. Dock can only accept vessels to 40ft in length. Berths close to shore end of dock are quite shallow.

Beautiful, well protected natural harbour. One SXK mooring has been placed here. Good holding in sand with some grass can be found throughout the harbour. Logical anchoring spot for most conditions is closer to the AIS hits and SXK mooring than plotted here. There is a newly completed hiking path along the shore that runs along the edge of the game preserve. Walking bridges connect the islands making longer walks possible. Sea Eagles and other birds are plentiful. Numerous picnic areas accessible from shore or sea with fire rings. See ARK56 app for more.

Three dolphins for mooring to pier. Additional possibilities with anchor and tie to pier. Can go alongside when not busy. Shallow towards shoreline. Inside of pier is quite shallow. Toilets, two fire pits/grills with their own picnic areas. No hiking trails, but possible to explore a bit of the island. Some old buildings, and a family cottage that is still in use. Possibly a room for dining and a small camp cottage by the dock are in use/opened in summer by the pier.

Pleasant nature reserve with many birds and freely grazing deer and cows. Interesting moss and lichen cover most of the granite. No real paths except those from the cows and a primary cut across the island to the family cottage still in use. Easy walking through most of the island with open forests and meadows studded with old growth oaks. Water in approaches is about 2m in depth with a soft grass, sand and mud bottom. Anchoring area is the same with good holding.

Nice area with a many options for mooring to the rocks or anchoring. If you stop in summer, don’t miss the ice cream at Långholmens Glassbod on the NE end of Norra Långholmens. They have a nice dinghy dock, plenty of chairs and delicious ice cream along with beverages and a little food.

Pleasant, well protected anchorage. Quite popular, but can accommodate a large number of boats free swinging or tied to the rocks. Easy path to walk to the bakery, restaurant and smoked fish/ice cream store.

Quiet little anchorage. Well protected from most wind directions. Room for a boat to swing in the inner anchorage and another 1-2 in the outer anchorage. More could tie in. Approach and entry are not too challenging with a good electronic chart and plot, though there are shallows to negotiate. Soft bottom with good holding.

Secure anchorage with good holding. Pier is safe for dinghy use and could be tied to if anchored off. Good depth at end. Rock rubble along sides of pier. Area is open and walkable, but a military training area with visible impacts.

Good holding with lots of options for where to anchor as you proceed into the anchorage. Entrance is a little tricky and is best done with a reliable plotter. Lots of birds. Walking options on the mainland.

Useful anchorage. Protected from fetch in most winds. Can take small boat thru canal to access Oxelosund. Waffle restaurant accessible by dinghy as well. Subject to small boat traffic.

Entry is narrow, but marked with a pair of leading lines and a single, thin green spindle. Follow the leading lines and keep close to spindle which should remain to starboard side, then turn onto second leading line avoiding visible rock sticking up to port. SXK buoy is no longer present. Small wooden piers extend from shore for bow ties, and there is a floating kayak dock. Blazed trail to other anchorage spots around the island.
