En fin plass å besøke for store og små.
Fine merkede stier og mye å se.
Fiske og fangstmuseet er plassert i sjøboden og er verdt et besøk.
I hovedhuset er det en eldre del fra svunnen tid som står urørt og viser hvordan livet var på den tiden. (1800 tallet)
Nye fine brygger med rikeslig strøm og vann.
Men vær OBS! Båt trafikken gjennom sundet kan til tider lage bølger pga at de går for fort. Bølgene kan lett skape situasjoner der eksempelvis fendere blir kastet opp på brygga og båtene kan ta skade. (Glassfiber mot stål)

Innseiling og maritime forhold: Enkel innseiling, god dybde.
Fortøying: To store flytebrygger i tre, med utriggere. God dybde. Det går også an å ankre opp sør for flytebryggen.
Området: Magerøya Gjestgiveri ligger nydelig til, med fint opparbeidede uteområder, benker og bord, plen, bademuligheter, turmuligheter, og ikke minst scene, tretopphus og andre trekonstruksjoner i skogen. Et sjarmerende sted!
