To get inside, you must go on the right side of the facility and round the 'lighthouse' that is there. On the outside, there are some waves from boats passing through the strait. There is some noise from the fishing boats docked in the harbor. It is recommended to take a trip with the express boat to Silda, where you can visit the restaurant Skjærbuda which serves good lunch and dinner. They also have their own boat to transport guests.

On a trip north and staying overnight here. Closed toilets, half of the town center is dug up, water is shut off at the quay, but they still charge full price.

About 35 minutes by e-bike to Kannesteinen. Havfruen Restaurant nearby delivers top-notch food! Narrow sidewalk over the Måløy Bridge, so we chose to cycle on the road on the return. Some noise from the fishing boats moored nearby.
Fantastic Street Art! That alone is reason enough to visit Måløy. Absolutely wonderful.

Nice sheltered harbour, but VERY noisy from fishing boats. Kiwi supermarket and boat equipment store nearby.

Navigation and maritime conditions: Måløy guest harbour has plenty of space, but the north wind is strong. It is a good waiting spot if you plan to round Stadt and the wind is not cooperating. Fuel is available at Måløy Båtservice across the strait, on the starboard side after you pass the bridge heading north.
Self-service at a small floating dock with good depths for sailboats.
KIWI (grocery store) is within a short walking distance from the harbour.
Included in the harbour fee is access to the sanitary building with showers, toilets, and washing machines. The latter must be paid for. Be quick in the shower, as the timed motion-sensitive light switch will turn off the shower rooms if no one moves in the room where the washing machines are...?!.

Want to know how the wind score works? Then you should read this explanation.
The wind forecasts come from yr.no (Norwegian Meteorological Institute), and was last updated 1 hour and 51 minutes ago (Saturday 14 June 11:29 PM). The next night score shows you the worst hour between 22:00 and 08:00 the next night. We recommend that you check multiple sources for wind forecasts. windy.com is a good website to show larger wind systems.
