If all the spots at the floating dock are occupied, it is possible to moor to the buoys outside the large boathouses in guest harbors. There are signs on the wall with phone number/Vipps for dock rental to the owner. There is a dock marked 'Emergency Dock'. There are currently 17 permanent residents on the island. There is a combined café/knitting shop that is open all year round. Ona Havstuer offers accommodation open year-round and a lovely restaurant that is open from May to the end of September with good food and a fully licensed bar. There are also two ceramic workshops and a gallery, as well as several accommodations. There is a ferry to Ona-Husøya four times a day departing from Småge ferry terminal.

There is a bridge connection between Ona and Husøya. On Husøya, there is a beautiful cemetery and a lovely sandy beach with white sand. Lush landscape.
