Innseilingen til Skutevikkilen er komplisert. De lokalkjente legger seg tett på bergene på babord side, og noen fendrer opp babord side for å gå helt inntil berget.

Bilde tatt fra båt på svai midt i Skutevikkilen i måneskinn. Ser mot innseilingen (sør) med kabelstrekk i luften (20m). Litt vanskelig å få feste med ankeret, mye sjøgress. Vær forsiktig forbi det lille skjæret i innseilingen, så nettopp en seilbåt med 1,80m dypgående som gikk på grunn/skrapte nedi. Vi har klart oss fint forbi ved å ligge tett opptil berget på babord side, rundt svingen mot babord på vei inn - det strekker seg en grunne ut fra skjæret på styrbord side. Fint å ha en utkikk i baugen.

Innseiling og maritime forhold: Krevende innseiling! 2m minstedybde, 1,3m rett til styrbord der det er trangest og 20m luftspenn over innseilingen. Visstnok vanlig å fendre mot berget på babord side for å komme trygt inn.
