Innseiling og maritime forhold: Grei innseiling med en stake på et skjær - gå på hvilken side du vil. En 2,8m etter staken plager de færreste.
Fortøying: Flytebrygger i flere puljer:

Lengst inne en stor og avbøyd.

Lenger ute tre parallelle. Båser for mindre båter på innsiden av den ene - ellers longside.

NB. De to ytterste flytebryggene har kun strøm og vann inne på kaikanten (ikke på flytebryggene). Det ligger Laaang slange - men den når ikke den ytterste plassen hvis vannpåfyllingen ikke er mot brygga.
Området: Tvedestrand er en vakker liten by med noen gode restauranter og mange bokantikvariater. Fint å rusle i den gamle hvitmalte trehusbebyggelsen.

Nærmeste dagligvarebutikk er Joker som ligger opp bakken til det «nye sentrumet». Det er et stykke å bære - så ta gjerne med ryggsekk ell.
Baker ved havna har fersk brød om morgenen.

Servicebygget med WC, dusj og vask er dårlig merket - i det røde huset sør for Tvedestrand hotell.
