As in many other places along the Norwegian coast, the season doesn’t seem to start until a bit into June. At the end of May, the showers were not open but the toilets were available. On the other hand, the harbour fee was really low.

Approach and maritime conditions: Easy approach with a marker on a skerry - you can pass on either side. A depth of 2.8m after the marker bothers very few.
Mooring: Floating docks in several groups:

Innermost, a large and curved one.

Further out, three parallel ones. Berths for smaller boats on the inside of one - otherwise longside.

NB. The two outermost floating docks only have power and water at the quayside (not on the floating docks). There is a looong hose - but it doesn't reach the outermost berth if the water filling is not towards the dock.
The area: Tvedestrand is a beautiful small town with some good restaurants and many antiquarian bookstores. It's nice to stroll through the old white-painted wooden buildings.

The nearest grocery store is Joker, located up the hill to the “new town center.” It's quite a distance to carry things - so feel free to bring a backpack or similar.
The bakery by the harbor has fresh bread in the morning.

The service building with WC, shower, and laundry is poorly marked - in the red house south of the Tvedestrand hotel.
