Straightforward approach from the south. Space for 3-4 boats on two guest piers. Pier 1 faces south, well protected by a stone breakwater. Pier 2 faces east, in front of the service building.
The service building is shared with motorhome tourists.
Nearest store is Joker Godøy, approximately 1 km away.
Excellent hiking opportunities in the mountains or along the shoreline on the south and west sides to Alnes.

Guest pier 1 is new and has space for 4 boats (4 power outlets)
Guest pier 2 is also used by commercial boats. Traps and fishing gear are stored on the floating pier.
The first impression was not the best.
Service building is missing.
Harbor fee 150,-
Depth in the harbor approx. 1.7m at low tide.

Mooring to buoy. (KNBF) Tight, should use stern anchor. Sheltered harbor with wind from north and west. Minimum depth 2m (marked green on Navionics charts but this is not accurate). No other facilities.

Approach from the north can be difficult to see from a distance.
Depth approx. 2 m.

Mooring: Engen pier has several guest spots alongside the floating dock. If the dock is full, it is perfectly fine to anchor further in closer to the beach. There is good depth quite far in.
The area: About 2 km gravel road to Svartisvannet. Several companies arrange guided tours up on the glacier which can be highly recommended. This usually includes a bus ride from the pier all the way up to where the climb towards the glacier starts.

Approach and maritime conditions: Guest harbor in Svolvær center. Restaurants on the quay. Swell from commercial vessels is noticeable.
Docking: Two solid concrete floating piers with alongside mooring. Min. depth 3.10.
The area: You are located in the middle of the city with restaurants as your closest neighbor. Short distance to most things.
