Hard to get into in any kind of wind. Even more so that the private berths to the west are occupied.
And once you managed to get into, chanced are good that your place is already booked once you try to check in. They use a service that I never heard of before. Better check
https://app.havneweb.no/gjestehavn/179
Even better: try somewhere else.

Not to forget: at our last visit one of the bridges was permanently closed, nowhere published. Better call in advance!

The entry through Stegswik does indeed appear daunting - at first you might doubt that there is any entry at all. It is very well marked with piles. Note that, when entering, you have to follow a curve towards North. The entry is about 10 Meters wide, we try to avoid meeting other boats here.

There are two marinas here, Very good dinner to be had at the hotel. GTL Diesel in Dyvig Bro (ther northern marina).

If you decide to anchor, there is lots of space in Dyvig, and very good anchor ground (mud) in about 5 m depth.

Mooring towards the pier, with two piles ("box").
Good shower and toilet facilities in the small buildings to the right of the hotel.
Bread service, order with the harbour master.
GTL available - make an appointment with the harbour master.
Bicycles available at no extra costs, good if you want to go shopping at Nordborg.
Some very nice walking paths around Oldenoor and Mjelsvik.

New marina facilities north of the bridge. Mooring is side-to a wooden wall with wooden piles for mooring ropes.
Usually some current along the Als Sund, mostly northward - check direction and strength before mooring. Some swell in NW and S winds.
Electricity is available, water only at some places.
Showers are a 800 m walk away, the same as for the harbour south of the bridge.
Much more quiet than the south harbour.

Bridge opens (almost) every hour at x.38, next opening is indicated by a sign at the bridge pillar.

Entry is simple, and marked by night with white lights (pyramid starboard, cube to port).
The marina is shared by the FSC yacht club on starboard and the HYS yachting school to port.
Guests can moor at fixed piers with two piles ("boxes") in the FSC area where green markers are shown. HYS piers to port must not be used.

Next shopping facilities at Glücksburg town, about 1.5 km walking distance. Restaurants about 500m walk along the shore promenade northward.

Small island harbour with the beautiful island Aaroe to explore. Nice place, but tends to fill up early in summer.
Mooring is mostly bow towards pier with one or two piles ("box"). Some spaces side-to.
Limited space in harbor, boxes tend to be small. If the marina is filling up, the harbor master finds creative solutions, however it may sometimes be difficult to leave in the morning...

Showers are in need of renovation.
Meals are available at the Cafe Aaroe Perle, directly at the harbour.

Watch out for the ferry when mooring and leaving!

Very good anchorage, and 5 SXK buoys.
Lots of seagrass in the northern part, also around the single SXK buoy there. I will avoid that part in the future.

Nyhavn is a bit confusing, since two harbours share the same entry. Nyhavn 1 is on the left side, Nyhavn 2 on the right. They have separate payment stations, toilet and shower facilities: For Nyhavn 1 they are in the library building, for Nyhavn 2 in a container next to the parking lot.
When entering, be aware of the strong currents in the Snaevringen. Otherwise both harbours are easy to get to, mooring is towards the pier in "boxes" w with two piles behind.
The town is near, with a number of restaurants, a good fish shop and supermarket nearby.

Good and safe harbour, very good as a way station and to purchase foods. Mooring towards pontoons or piers, partly also alongside. The harbour is very busy in summer, be prepared to raft up.

There is a supermarket directly in the harbour, and some restaurants. However, the surroundings are much nicer in the north of Samsoe.

Guests usually stay in the inner harbour, alongside the quay. Be prepared to raft up in peak season.
Toilet and shower facilities are new and very good.
The city is near, with lots of restaurants, shops and even a Biltema in case you need spare parts.
A very good place to hole up if there is a storm!
