Approach and maritime conditions: Måndalen Guest Harbor is nicely situated in the Romsdal Fjord about 15 NM from Molde. A convenient place to stop when traveling from Åndalsnes.
Mooring: There is space for 3-6 boats along the floating dock, which is well protected from the fjord. It may be a bit tight to turn for a 40-footer. Shore power is available at the gangway. More than 2 meters depth.
The area: A short distance to Måna Camping, where there are 2 nice beaches. Store and gas station right by the camping site. Salmon river flows out by the breakwater.

Approach and maritime conditions: Located in a sheltered small bay. Closest place to visit the hole in Torghatten. A suitable place to stop if coming from the north or south
Anchoring: Floating dock about 30 meters with space for 4-8 boats. Mooring on both sides. Sailboats should lie on the outer side
The area: Nice hiking opportunities here, and one can use the campsite's facilities.

Approach and maritime conditions: Vestnes is located on the south side of Romsdalsfjorden, approximately 30 minutes to Molde. The guest harbor is right inside the breakwater.
Docking: Space for about 15 boats at the floating dock at the stern end. 3 outriggers make docking easy. You can stay completely still as the harbor is fully sheltered.
The area: Located in the middle of the municipal center with shops, restaurants, and a liquor store. Nice hiking opportunities along Flatevågen, which is equipped with walkways, grills, and swimming spots. There's a nice swimming spot just north of the city center. There is also the possibility of a short mountain hike to Rambergkollen.

Approach and maritime conditions: Well-marked approach from the north. Sailboats can enter, but they usually dock at the Seilerhytta.
Berthing: Concrete dock 40 meters long. Depth of more than 4 meters. Preferably stern-to-mooring on both sides with the bow towards the mooring buoys. Hjertøya is Molde's jewel in the fjord. Museum, playground, hiking trails, diving tower.
The area: Lots to do on Hjertøya

Not suitable for sailboats, must then lie along the dock by the breakwater. Great for cycling around the island Sekken. Small convenience store 900 meters away. During the strawberry season, it is possible to buy local Sekken strawberries.

Approach and maritime conditions: Cozy small Guest Harbour. Protected from the fjord by a solid breakwater.
Mooring: Mooring to floating docks. In the innermost part, there are stern-to moorings with outriggers. In the outer part, it's side-to mooring that applies. It is also possible to stay at floating docks outside the breakwater, but then it is not sheltered from the fjord.
The area: Valldal is a great place by the fjord. Many hiking opportunities and some shops and eateries in the center. Valldal is famous for its strawberries, so they are recommended.
