Fine and sheltered harbor with a short distance to the shopping center, food, and a large nice playground on the north side of the harbor for children of all ages. Trampolines, slides, etc.

Approach:
Nice approach from the south, then turning eastward into the harbor itself, with good depth.

Quay:
Guest dock on the southeast side, approximately 25 meters long with mooring possible only on one side and alongside. No space for stern-to mooring. Easy access to shore with a long gangway leading to a nice area with park benches.

Facilities:
- Shore power
- Freshwater (seasonal)
- Sanitary house (reserved for members)
- Diesel filling (contact the harbor)

Area:
Very nice and quiet area on Gossen, little traffic other than the 4 daily ferry departures from Småge about 500 meters further out past the harbor. With this ferry, you can visit Orta, Finnøya, Sandøya, or Ona. Great trip worth visiting.

Access:
Spacious fjord with beautiful nature, coming towards Vatne with river outlet and brackish water. The harbor is relatively spacious; the further in you go, the narrower it gets.


Pier:
A guest pier with an angle, shallow at the innermost part so be cautious, not suitable for sailboats. Fragile rings/bollards that are screwed into the wood on the quay, so not recommended for multiple boats side by side or in windy conditions. Shore power is located up by the gangway on land, 2 units.


Facilities:
Close to a store, shore power, hiking trails.
For diesel filling, you must arrange with the harbor and pay with Vipps.


Area:
Vatne is a beautiful and peaceful place with proximity to bunker oil with diesel and 95 unleaded 200 meters up from the guest pier. Local shop with fast food and café.

Great concrete dock with plenty of space and good mooring options, excellent sanitary facilities, playground, swimming area, and coffee machine! Payment via Gomarina app.


As Escaro mentions in an earlier review here, the guest dock is used by people who fish with poles and are inconsiderate, day and night. They make themselves very at home. Some leave behind cigarette butts, fish guts, and fishing lines. Others are very friendly and considerate.

Access:
Easy entry, 4.5 meters maximum height under the bridge, contact the bridge operator for opening.
Tight to maneuver into the guest spots on the inside, possible to lie alongside outside but very nice and sheltered inside.

Area:
It's getting nice with a beach at the old slipway, restaurant nearby and it is evident that there is property development in the area.

Facilities:
The sanitary facilities are down at the floating dock which is quite convenient, totally okay but somewhat worn. Very smart solution with the Gomarina app for payment of shower and opening with codes, etc.

Other:
Be aware that the area is open to the public on the quayside, so there were beggars who came several times and went into the stern deck and asked if we had any recyclables for them, one of them was quite intrusive.

Child-friendly!


Approach:
Nice approach, preferably slow down a bit earlier to avoid bringing stern waves as the docks are sensitive and it doesn't take much to cause movement. Watch out for ferry and express boat traffic, there are frequent arrivals and departures. Good depth at the outermost dock but it becomes shallow quickly further in.


Area:
Fantastic, no other word to describe it. Calm, child-friendly, clean, varied shops, and friendly people.
Large playground with many play structures and nice sitting areas.
If you have children, we recommend Askvoll. We have two boys, aged 4 and 6, and for us, this is a top spot. If you bike 1.5 km east, you will reach the artificial turf field and the local school, where there is a gigantic playground with countless possibilities.


Facilities:
Good facilities and simple, 2 rooms with shower areas and toilets with sinks each. 2 washing machines and 2 dryers in the outer hallway of the sanitary facility, located in the red building immediately to the left of the gangway up from the guest pier. There's a code lock, so you need to get the code from the staff at the nearby gas station. The Kiwi store, which is open from 7-22, is about 200 meters from the guest pier. Malia, YX, hairdresser, liquor store, pharmacy, clothing store, and hairdresser are within 300 meters from the guest harbor.


General:
Everything is great, except that you are exposed to weather and waves at the outer guest pier.
At the inner dock, there are also guest spots, spaces with green signs are available and can be used, those with red signs are not available. Payment is made via Vipps to 525259, as of July 26, it is 300 NOK per night, all included.
