What a beautiful and tranquil anchorage.
Excellent ground for anchoring. Sand / mud.
Depth where we anchored was 6.5 m.
We did not see any mooring bolts. Perhaps these can be found on the nearby islet of Gitkilholmen.

What a friendly harbormaster! Very helpful and friendly. The harbor has a lounge where guests can make use of. The empty berths can be used or the long jetty on the port side before you reach the berths. Diesel available on the long jetty. Bus station to Stavanger nearby. Shower, washing machine, and dryer included in the mooring fee.

The depth at the rocks varies. We couldn't dock lengthwise at the first mooring ring. We could at the second mooring ring. Nevertheless, we decided to point the bow towards the island. The draft of our sailboat is 1.8 m. Beautiful place, but less well-sheltered from SW and NW winds.

New shower facility. Not entirely ready yet. Showering is possible though. Payment can be made with a payment machine. A card for electricity and access to the shower can be purchased from the same machine. You will receive your deposit back later. We were pleasantly surprised in the morning with free bread rolls.

The harbour master is present in the afternoon and evening at the beginning of the pier. The showers, toilets, washing machine, and dryer are freely accessible and included in the mooring fee. Close to a shopping center, bus station, and supermarkets.
