The first nether pontoon was occupied by large RIBs. Mooring is available on one of the two pontoons in front of the Father Christmas shop. Electricity is provided by PowerPay, which automatically triggers payment for the berth. 138 NOK + 2.25 per kWh. There is a public toilet on the right as you leave the pontoons; access is by bank card.
In westerly winds of force 7 or above, the small pontooon at the entrance offers good protection from choppy water, but a significant residual swell penetrates the mooring area. Unless you can moor further inside the harbour, you’ll find better protection inside the black pontoon, just in front of the Nordkapp Museet.

A pleasant harbour in a good location for anyone wishing to explore the Geirangerfjord without stopping off at Geiranger. An letter box is available for cash payments if required.
Not particularly suitable for boats over 40ft

It really is a pleasant stop-off that could do with being better equipped. However, the shopping centre does have a cash machine, which is very rare along the coast. If you can’t pay via Vipps, there’s a payment box available for cash payments.

Mooring possible at the floating dock. If mooring on the shore side, the water depth is sufficient along the dock. But move forward parallel to the dock as the seabed rises very quickly towards the shore.
An electrical outlet may be available on a wooden post at the end of the dock.
