The septic pump is awkwardly located at the innermost part of the harbor. Shallow, we only dared to dock port side in (with our 1m draft) and the hose is too short to go over the boat.
The pump didn't work either.
Tiring to maneuver in the harbor with strong wind from the south.
The harbor otherwise is fairly boring. Bonus points for some water toys/slide/trampoline (?) that are set up.

Nice day harbor / fair weather harbor outside Middagsbukta.
Deep enough for sailboats on the northwest end of the island. Alternatively, nice to anchor in the bay.
The southwest wind can often take hold, so the anchoring (which is good) gets tested.

Perfectly acceptable as a waiting dock, but lacking in facilities, a somewhat worn-out dock and 'dull', so I would not recommend staying here overnight. Rather, stay on the upstream side of Vrangfoss or down by Ulefoss.

Longside along the rock on Risholmen.
Easy approach from the north. Shallow at the innermost part, not possible to sail in from the south.

As the local website says, "Bergsto pier is one of the real idylls of the Telemark Canal" - In contrast to the other "harbours" in the area: Here there is evening sun!
And the surroundings are like something out of a postcard :)

The sewage pump-out station is on the same dock that the scheduled boats use and therefore only accessible during daytime.

A short walk to the Holmen Center with various shops and a pizza bakery.
Holmen slipway with a Volvo Penta dealer/workshop right across the strait.
Best suited for smaller boats (<30 feet)

Small dock just below Mikaelshulen. Good depth, but the dock is low (10-15 cm) and a bit 'flimsy'.
The location is exposed to splashes that build up on Norsjø with north-north-west wind.
Also exposed to waves from traffic on the water.
The short and steep path up to the cave is well worth the trip.

The entrance is straightforward. There is a 1m shallow to the east at the mouth of the bay, see Navionics chart.
Approximately 1m depth at the innermost part of the floating dock. You can also moor against the land on the east side.
You'll be very well secured if you catch the mooring for the floating dock with your anchor :)

Nice bay to stay in as long as the wind is not coming from the north. High (and steep) mountain sides around. The main passage goes right by, so you should expect some waves from passing boats.
You can moor against the point on the west side (good depth, 2-3 meters all the way in) or anchor - but not too far into the bay, shallow!
Enjoyable and slightly challenging hike to explore the island, with a nice view from the top.

Nice waiting dock on the lower side of the lock system.
Space for 4-5 boats
The green area and nice path along the locks lead up to the upper side where there is a beach and cafe
