Popular harbor at the western entrance of the Danish South Sea. Very narrow harbor entrance and often somewhat crowded in the summer months. There are additional berths outside the harbor, east of the ferry dock, and some anchor spots near the harbor.
The island itself is worth seeing and definitely merits a stop. At the harbor, there is a small snack bar as well as a bicycle rental (with mobile payment). Thus, a tour around the island is easily feasible.
Especially the wind telephone in the southwest of the island is worth a visit (to speak with your loved ones)!

Nice harbour with mainly mooring between piles. A bit tight which can make it challenging to moor in strong winds. A cafe by the harbour office and a grocery store in the middle of the island that opens at 12 PM. Lyø has many nice hiking trails.
