Beautiful small harbour, which is often overcrowded in summer. It can only be visited by water, as it is located at the end of a peninsula that cannot be entered all year round due to its status as a nature reserve. Since the October flood of 2023, the restaurant (Giftbude) has been closed. The harbour master runs a kiosk during the summer season. There is a playground, a bathing beach (rocky), a mole to the green and white lighthouse, and great views.
Next to the harbour is a water hiking spot for kayak/canoe paddlers with an overnight stay possibility.
Garbage cannot be disposed of here. There is also no fresh water for the boats.
In the sanitary building, toilets and a few showers (for a fee) are available.

Mostly new jetties (after the flood in October 2023) in very good condition. Electricity can now only be obtained with a card. Excellently maintained sanitary facilities. Refueling station in the fishing harbor area, on the left side when coming from the sea.
Playground behind the sanitary building.
The old fishing village is worth a visit!

Very easily accessible guest harbor in Kappeln, directly on the fairway of the Schlei. WARNING: Often strong lateral currents! Water depth consistently at least 3.5 meters. All supply facilities are within walking distance. Good Wi-Fi throughout the harbor area. Next to the sanitary building (south of the berths) there is a gas station and a disposal facility. Both can be used after telephone registration or in consultation with the harbor master.

At the fixed pier of the rowing club, there is an opportunity to use free berths. The harbour fee is to be placed in an envelope and dropped into the mailbox at the rowing club building.

Well-located marina, slightly south of the Kappeln bascule bridge. Approach directly from the fairway of the Schlei. Attention, often strong currents!
Free berths are marked in green. Very good sanitary facilities, accessible via a code card. There are additional public toilets on the right side of the sanitary building, accessible 24/7, which can sometimes be a bit unsightly.
Free Wi-Fi throughout the harbor.
Central location, so you can reach Kappeln's downtown on foot. Bread rolls and other items can be ordered from the harbor master and will be ready in the morning.
Very good restaurant TAUWERK at the northern end of the harbor.

Marina designed more for very large boats. Be cautious with the outer berths, as there are very high bollards.
Not a good value for money. High extra electricity costs. You pay 0.50 € for EACH visit to the toilet! Rather expensive, so usually there are free berths available.
The location in the former naval harbor is well-protected, but with limited visibility due to the newly built holiday homes. Nearby supplies through the supermarket are good, though the prices there are also higher than usual for EDEKA.

Well-suited for a walk to Weidenfelder Beach or to the restaurant LOBSTER.

Poor cell phone reception at the pontoon. No Wi-Fi at the pontoon.

Directly reachable from the fairway of the Schlei, the marina has a fixed northern pier and a floating southern pier. The restroom and shower building is located directly at the pier. Very peaceful location. In the summer, the harbor cafe is a beautifully situated locale right by the harbor with stunning sunsets.

With east wind, some swell at the western piers. Best protection from east wind directly at the easternmost pier.

A somewhat dated marina. Currently usable only south of the pier to the Wiking Tower due to remediation of contaminated sites in the northern part of the harbor.
Solid wooden piers. Water depth significantly lower than 2.00 meters due to silting. Recently renovated sanitary facilities.
High noise pollution even at night due to the B 76 next to the marina.
Very well protected against wind from the west.

Harbor located directly at the Eckernförde Bay, close to the city. In the midst of the bustling beautiful city and yet quiet.
All floating docks. Very good protection in this harbor from all wind directions. Sanitary facilities in good condition. Numerous restaurants and shopping opportunities are within walking distance.
Fishing from the public jetty and a playground directly on the beach are immediately adjacent to the harbor.

Harbor severely affected by the flooding in October 2023, located directly on the Baltic Sea. Therefore, so far only around 100 berths on fixed piers in the southern part can be used.
Gas station, slipway, and crane are available.
The municipality has taken over the harbor and is restoring it.
Playgrounds, swimming areas, and the facilities of Dampland are within walking distance. Numerous restaurants, cafes, and a supermarket are on site.
