Approach: Titran is exposed to harsh weather conditions, located on the far west of Frøya. The sea stretch from Hitra over to Frøya can be challenging, but navigating into the harbor is straightforward. Head directly towards Titran and keep Sandholmen to port to enter the harbor.
Guest berths: There are several places to moor for guests. The best option is the first floating dock you reach on the port side as you enter the harbor. It is located outside "Isak Gaustad Eftf." Here, there is a floating dock with space for two larger boats on the outside. The inside is shallow, so it is recommended only for smaller boats. Behind the "Gaustadbrygga" you will find service rooms with a WC and shower. There is no power on the dock, but inquire with those on land and they can arrange it for you. If the floating dock is full, you can go a bit further in to a concrete fisherman's quay. This is also on the port side. The dock is used by fishing boats and other commercial traffic, but if there is available space, you can moor here. Contact Willy Olsen at +47 92854856 if you have questions about this quay. Freshwater is also available at the Fisherman's Quay.
The Area: Titran has scattered buildings and it is nice to go for a walk or run in the area. Titran is otherwise known for the catastrophic Titran accident, where a sudden storm took the lives of 141 fishermen in 1899. You will find a monument and information on land.
