Entrance and maritime conditions: Slåttholmen is a sheltered harbor just outside Lillesand.
Anchoring: Moor to the dock either bow in or alongside. Good depth almost along the entire dock.
The area: Nice little islet, with large docks and a small kiosk. Great for kids to run around on the islet, and decent docks for swimming. Possibility to fill water at the dock.

Entrance and maritime conditions: The bay is located at the outermost part of Snigsfjorden, with good protection from westerly winds. The northern part of the bay is somewhat shallow, with a shoal of 0.5 meters on the north side. Entry into the fjord is completely safe up to this area; if you want to go further into the fjord, be aware that it is only 1.5 meters deep in the center of the fjord for a small stretch. There is a marked channel on the west side of the shallow part.
The bay becomes quickly shallow towards the shore, but if you stay in the middle of the bay, the depth is good.
Anchoring: A nice bay to lie at anchor. It is also possible to moor the bow to the rock on the south side, but you must have your own rock wedges. The bottom consists of some rock and some sand. Depths range from 3-6 meters.
The area: This area faces Underøy, so if you take a dinghy to land, there are nice hikes on the island. For example, up to the mast, with an incredibly beautiful view. There are also several docks around the island you can use if you don't want to lie at anchor.

Approach and maritime conditions: You will find Grunnesund on the west side at the very south of Hille. A sheltered harbour, protected from all directions. The entrance is shallow and narrow, and you must be aware of several shallows on the way in.
Anchoring: There are 2 piers inside Grunnesund that can be used. You can moor alongside or use a stern anchor. The area has a depth of 1.5-2 meters. You enter from the east and then have a narrow entrance with a depth of 1.8 meters.

Approach and maritime conditions: Mortehåla is a nice little bay at the very southwest of Underøy.
Anchoring: There is a concrete pier where you can lie alongside if you have the space to yourself, but there is only about 0.7m depth at the dock. Alternatively, you can anchor with a stern anchor and the bow in, as there is a nice sandy bottom, about 1-3m deep throughout the bay.
The Area: There are sheep grazing in the area, so there are some natural paths inland. There are a couple of smaller peaks at the far end of the islet which are nice to walk to, otherwise, the mast in the middle of the island is a very nice viewpoint.

Approach and maritime conditions: Epledalen is located on the west side of Grønsfjorden, approximately 4.5 nm into the fjord.
Mooring: There are good opportunities to dock alongside if there are few boats. If it is crowded, there is good holding ground to anchor and tie up with the bow in.
The area: This is a nice little cove with a sandy beach and a great playground for children. There are marked hiking trails in the area.

Approach and maritime conditions: Grønningen (Svinør light) is a nice outport at the entrance to Furuholmen. There is a shoal to port on approach, so keep starboard (south)
Anchoring: It is shallow near the quay, but smaller motorboats can dock alongside. Otherwise, there is a good bottom for setting the anchor and mooring with the bow in.
The area: Developed area by the archipelago service, with an outhouse and garbage disposal. There is also a nice lawn for potential tents, and you will find a small beach for children. A grill is installed.
Otherwise, a walk up to the lighthouse is recommended.

Approach and maritime conditions: Lyngholmen is a sheltered natural harbor with a dock close to Underøy. Open and safe approach.
Anchoring: Moor either alongside or with the bow towards the dock or the rock.
The area: Nicely developed stone dock, with a sheltered grass lawn inside the bay. A small sheltered beach for children to play on.

Approach and maritime conditions: Kongsodden is located on the east side of Underøy, at the entrance to Snigsfjorden.
Anchoring: Moor alongside the dock, best suited for smaller motorboats.
The area: Nice area for walking and beach activities. Well sheltered from the west wind, but somewhat exposed to boat traffic in and out of the fjord.

Entrance and maritime conditions: Skutevik is a good harbor sheltered from the west wind on the way into Farsund.
Anchoring: Well-developed quay for side-on mooring and bow-in mooring.
The area: Skutevik is nicely developed with piers and fire pits. There is also a nice grill hut on the site. A small beach for children to play on.
There is an old wreck in the bay that you can see from one of the hills near the quay.

Anchoring: There are no docks on the islet, but several good places to anchor and put the bow against the rock.

Approach and maritime conditions: Aspholmen is located just near Risøbank, and you can enter from the east and the west. Note that there is a shallow area of 1.3 meters on the west side.
Anchoring: Here, it is primarily bow in and stern anchor that applies. But smaller boats can lie alongside. The depth at the pier is just under 1 meter. The bottom is sandy.
The area: Nice little islet, with a pier on the north side. You can see directly across to Risøbank, one of Mandal's finest beaches. It's just a short dinghy trip over.
On Aspholmen, there is a nice beach and recreational area for play and fun.
