No generator noise as of June 2025. Fast chargers for express boats have been installed, including 2 fast chargers for leisure boats.

This is a suitable anchorage in southerly and westerly winds. Shallow, good holding ground, and plenty of space. Ice-free in summer since there are no glaciers calving into the sea nearby. There is a walrus colony here. Do not anchor directly outside the colony as walruses can be dangerous to inflatable boats. The Governor has a small cabin here. Plenty of driftwood on the beach (but not in the sea).

This is a good anchorage in easterly winds. There are several good anchoring spots around the bay. We chose the 13-meter depth in the south part of the bay. Comfortlessbreen has retreated significantly and no longer calves into the sea. The bay is therefore mostly ice-free. Nice hiking opportunities.
The place is called Engelskbukta (with a "k") because the Englishman Jonas Poole had a bit of bad luck here in 1611. That is likely also why it is called Comfortlessbreen.
