Anchoring: Anchoring depth approximately 13 meters at the innermost part. Anchor just outside the steep drop-off. Sandy bottom towards the shore. Do not anchor too close to the steep drop-off as the depth quickly decreases towards the shore. No protection from northern weather. Potentially exposed to downdrafts.
The Area: Nice hike up to Astridtinden.

Mooring: Good opportunities for tying up at the quay or floating dock. Anchorage area a little out in the bay.
The area: Great walk to the trading post Tinden which is protected. Friendly hosts at Skipnes where you can get a good meal and drink. Pub on some evenings.

Anchoring: Anchoring depth approx. 15 meters, but shallower towards the shore. Good holding ground and ample space. At the pier, there is a floating dock where you can moor with a rubber dinghy. Short distance to the store from the floating dock.

Anchorage: Large bay with varying depths depending on where you are situated. Good protection from most wind directions. Nice to lie in towards Ungsmaløya on both sides.
The area: Great hike up to Valletindan on rocky terrain. Beautiful view towards Vestfjorden and in all directions from the top. Highly recommended!

Not marked as an anchorage on the chart, Anchored at about 15 meters, good hold when I needed to get the anchor loose. The sun disappears behind the mountain in the evening. Nice hiking trail on land.

Mooring: Simple guest dock without electricity and water
The area: Nice place to dock the boat if heading to Møysalen, the highest mountain on Hinnøya. Can go by dinghy into Lonkanfjorden or follow the trail inward along the fjord.

Very nice natural harbour, quiet area, no noise from cars. There are some cabins in the bay. Sounds from birds in the forest. Good protection, slight opening to the west, but I don't think there will be any waves in the bay.

Anchorage at about 7 - 8 meters, and the anchor set on the first attempt.

Good anchorage. There is a private dock with good depth in the inlet, where it is possible to lie alongside on the outside. No contact information for the dock. Nice hiking trail up to the mountain Nipan, 680 meters. Very beautiful hike and view!
